Ocular Modelling Wax, 300g

INSTRUCTIONS:
Apply a separator to the stone mould.
Melt wax at low heat on a wax spoon. “DO NOT LET THE WAX BOIL”.
Fill the mould completely in one go.
Allow cooling.
Once the edge starts to whiten start to add wax slowly to start forming the anterior.
Be patient and follow the whiting rule.
Allow the wax to cool off naturally once it is the shape you require.
DO NOT TRY TO COOL OR PUT IT INTO A FRIDGE.
This will affect the wax’s unique properties.
TIP: Once the wax has cooled off, smooth it off with a blow torch to save time in the carving
process.

Once the wax is cured and cool remove it from the mould.
Carve with a knife of your choice and smooth off with a woven cheesecloth or such, and polish
with a paper hand towel. Repeat until you have your desired shape.
